La Grève Bleue is the closest beach to Pointe Saint-Mathieu. It takes its name from the pieces of blue shells that are in the sand, it is located in a small preserved area and faces due west. In the middle of the beach is the "big rock" which acts as a natural diving board at high tide. This small beach is the perfect place for a moment of relaxation, it is a very popular beach with locals.
